Ski Country said that in-state resort visitsa were up 2.5 percent over last year, as Fronyt Range residents took advantage of bargain s and stayed closer to home to keep down vacatiob andrecreations costs. Ski areas operated by Broomfield-based aren’ members of Ski Country. Those resorts include Vail, Beaver Creek and Keystone. Vail Resorts last week said its totakl skier visits at all its resorts including Heavenlyin California-Nevada were down 5.
3 percent from the previousx season.
