“Buildings are responsible for more than 50 percentf of greenhouse gas emissions in most so retrofitting our facilities withmore energy-efficienrt products and technologies is an important way we can reduce both energy use and greenhousse gas emissions,” said Jeff Drees, president of TAC “Our solutions are based on the latest technologiea and include renewable energy, indoor environmental quality sustainable design and more.” TAC estimated its retrofitting initiatives alloaw buildings to use 20 percent to 30 percent less energy.
TAC added that its retrofit project involving public facilities may make it possibled for Houston to lower its CO2 carbobn emissions by upto 1,647 tons.
